Video caught and uploaded about an hour after the earthquake. Some sights as I fled Tokyo by taxi..

I was so impressed with a KOMADORI Bros. video clip on NHKs Digital Stadium, I just had to track them down.

At the time, they were International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences. We exchanged emails, drank beers, and shared DV stories. I asked if I could present their work to an international audience on TOKYODV. They were excited about the exposure, and I was honored to show their art.

George Mauro’s video reminder of how peaceful the World Trade Center was only one month before September 11th, 2001. This clip has views from the top, inside, and base of the huge buildings. He created this video and commentary the same day the towers collapsed.. Now, just over ten years ago.

I met up with one of the founders of Vgo Communications to talk about their latest ‘active presence personal avatar’. I was impressed with the simple design, functionality, and price. At around 5,000 USD, I can see this little thing flying off the shelves for gandma and grandpa..

Anjela came over one Autumn day to make a little video collage. The blue sky, vivid sun, and Fall colors added to her striking beauty; Her dark eyes seem to go right in and through you.. I tried capturing this on tape.
