TDV Reports: ParadiseTV Bikini Shoot

February 12th, 2006 Comments(0)

Dango!Ms. Kozue Ikeda, a.k.a. Ms. ‘Lake Star River South’.. (It should be ‘Lake Field Branch’, or something like that, but anyway.. She’s in a bikini, holding a cherry blossom branch and sucking on dango balls. Who am I to question?)

Ms. Ikeda hosts a ‘news’ show at Paradise TV called ‘Bathing News’. You get the idea; she reads news while undressing and getting into the hot bath. That video is coming soon, but in this clip she’s posing for the still camera. Spring is just around the corner so she’s holding cherry blossoms and dango balls; ‘a chewy snack made of rice flour, normally served on a stick with various types of sauces’.. Or used as sexual innuendoes. ;)

TDV Street Fashion: Platform Pearching

January 26th, 2006 Comments(0)

Uniform!I had an extra hour to kill before meeting a friend to pound beers, so I decided to ‘people watch’ on the train platform. The evening sunlight gave everything a clean crisp appearance. Futako-Tamagawa station is high above one of the banks of the Tamagawa river; it’s possible to see Fuji off in the distance. The video clip has kids, trains, grandpas, and booted girls with phones.. Shot in the fall..

TDV Fashion Prance

January 19th, 2006 Comments(0)

Girate! It was a lazy morning, so I decided to call up some friends, rent a Cube, drink all day, and film some ‘creative’ commercials for TokyoDV’s Spring Fashion Line. This is b-roll from that day; kind of artsy crap, but people tend to like watching dancing girls and boobs.. I try to give power to the people. The girl in front is wearing a stylish pink Jr. Raglan with tapered cut to show shapliness. The Japanese Kanji on front says ‘Big Fake Breasts’… But hers aren’t fake, so we did some last minute alterations. See the commercial for TokyoDV Apparel here; Fashion Fight!.. Silly goodness is both silly and good.

Manga Artist Interview Series: Toshio Maeda (article)

January 08th, 2006 Comments(0)

Hentai!Toshio Maeda’s groundbreaking manga series Urotsuki Doji from the early ’80s firmly placed him in the history books - in Japan and abroad - as the pioneer of the genre known as hentai , or perverted. This work featured violent and graphic images of shapely young women being probed, felt, and fondled by the tentacles, elongated tongues, and miscellaneous extensions of creatures and men alike

Winter Raving in the Park

December 18th, 2005 Comments(0)

Freaks! This one brings back memories.. In the late 90s and early 00s, young Japanese would throw outdoor rave parties every Sunday afternoon in Yoyogi Park. They’d start early, around noon, and finish around 9pm. The parties have since been shut down, I think due to ‘noise’, but the spirit lives on.. Here we see a winter afternoon rave just starting out. I mixed in some cosplay freaks for some fashion and color.

The video size is small and the quality kind of crap, but it gives you a basic idea of how Japanese youth interpret Sunday as being ‘the day of rest’.

Japanese Arm Wrestling Girls

December 18th, 2005 Comments(0)

Jiggle! This video is taken from the same night as the Japanese Cat Fighting clip; Two girls compete in the championship round of the arm wrestling event. At first, I thought the competition would be staged, kind of fake.. but these girls fought hard! So hard their bodies jiggled and shook from the intense power stuggle.. It was dead-locked for the longest time.. then ‘T-back Tart’ started to wear ‘Bunny-Ass’ down.. See the video for the outcome..

Tokyo Motor Show 2005: Toyota Fine X

December 10th, 2005 Comments(0)

Arse!A short, fast-paced video of some attractive new chasis coming out of Japan. There are some booth girls, but I also capture the photographers flashing and gawking.. Oh, and there’s a car as well; the Toyota Fine X concept car. It spins like a festival tea cup ride.. Guess for people who can’t make three-point turns..

Tokyo Motor Show 2003: Motor Queens

December 03rd, 2005 Comments(0)

Look!I always thought it was strange, in an interesting sort of way, that the events girls at the Tokyo Motor Shows would attempt to give each photographer a few seconds of attention; showing all their ranges of expressions in a short period of time; sultry, innocent, aggressive, and demure all in five seconds. I’m sure in photos it looks fine, but on video and in person, it always looked a little strange; like the girls suffer from mild turrets or multiple personality disorders..

Royal Kimono Dressing

November 27th, 2005 Comments(1)

Buried Treasure!A good friend of mine was attending Kimono lessons at the Hakubi Kimono School in Tokyo. I went to a demonstration at the school; Here we see two teachers dressing a woman as royalty would be dressed. It’s a kimono with twelve layers. I’ve dubbed it ‘Twelve Layers O’ Fun’..

Tokyo Motor Show 2005: Toyo Tire Girls

November 27th, 2005 Comments(0)

Fangs!I went to the Tokyo Motor Show this year, as usual. Actually, I go every two years; passenger cars are every other year. I saw a lot of cars, but the booth girls always get most of my attention. I think it’s pretty standard for men at the motor show..

Here we have the Toyo Tire Girls snarling for the camera. The rattle snake sound effects are something I added in post.. ;)
