TDV Reports: Three Asimos Attack!
Some close-ups of Asimo’s ankle joints, tinted face shield, and knees.
The lighting was strange/futuristic and the fluid/freaky motions of Asimo made this an intriguing clip; still one of my personal favorites. Shot at one of the Robodex Expos in Yokohama, Japan.
Originally released in 2002.

Vidicle: A Publisher in the Shadows
Something I just started working on. I call them ‘Vidicles’; video previews of written articles.
Since the YouTube ‘revolution’ has expanded the definition of ‘online video’ - (talking heads pointlessly babbling in front of a camera? This is entertainment?) I thought; ‘why not make videos of someone reading well written, captivating articles’? In this case, that ’someone’ is my computer, and the ‘well written article’ is from Captain Japan.
Watch this vidicle preview of his recent article: A Publisher in the Shadows:
Hiroharu Kimura dresses in black: sport jacket, shoes, socks, slacks, and gold-rimmed sunglasses. Aside from his blue dress shirt, his attire follows the vampire bat trademark used for his sex-trade publication Manzoku, meaning satisfaction.
“Bats cannot see,” says the chairman of Creators Company Connection, reclining in the sofa of his office in Tokyo’s Okubo district, “but they have a special sense.”
Indeed, Kimura operates his business - printing magazines that cater to Japan’s sexual services and hostessing industries - by feel.. READ THE FULL STORY!

Her dog’s sporting a purple tank top and punk collar.. They’re enjoying the fine weather outside before window shopping in Harajuku.

Japanese Catfight Slapping
Hhhmm.. What can I say? This is a staged ‘cat fight’ between two women wearing little clothing. The action is pretty fake, but sort of entertaining; some of the wrestling positions they find themselves in are rather ridiculous.
Lots of slapping, bending, rolling, swinging, kicking, and twitching.
The video also features some sort of creature with a beetle head and hypnotic torpedo tits.. The clip is short, sweet and leaves a bitter after-taste.. Music is also a TokyoDV creation.

TDV Reports: Japanese Violin Babes
While wandering around on press day at the opening of Tokyo Midtown, I stumbled onto this ‘performance’ at one of the shops..
To be honest, I don’t remember the shops name or even what they were selling; seemed like jewelry or something.
An attractive woman approached me as I was filming the hardwood floor outside her shop; “Would you like to see a performance?”.. “Uhh, yeah. What kind?”.. “These girls will play.”.. “Uhh, ok. Can I film?”.. “Yes, please.”.. I wasn’t sure what kind of ‘performance’, but the girls were cute.
Anyway, this description is longer than the video clip, so just watch it; it’s nothing special but sort of ‘interesting’.. I have no idea why this piano was accompanying these three young violinists, but the music is Vivaldi’s Spring, from Four Seasons.
