Tokyo Underground: Tokyo Geo-Site Project
Forty meters under sprawling Tokyo is a tunnel system which houses utility lines - including gas, water, and electricity. This video has still shots from the contruction project and a miniature replica of the large drilling machine which carved out tunnel. Read Captain Japan’s article to get all the details: Journey to the Center of the Earth On this day, the tunnel was open for people to walk through and learn about how it was made. We stumbled upon a small team of photographers taking pictures of, what I thought to be, a very young girl. I’m not sure if she was a model or promoting some pedaphilic tendencies, but I believe she was with her mother.. so everything was ok.. I guess.
